Danceworks has taught our girls as much about respect, poise, and confidence as they have about ballet, tap and jazz. Danceworks has provided a safe environment for our daughters to become who they are as individuals and to develop as wonderful, graceful dancers. Danceworks delivers a quality dance education and experience that focuses on the development of the individual as the technique and skills emerge. The girls potential is challenged so they are able to get the most out of the experience to the point they can apply the values they learn at Danceworks at school, with athletics and in life. The shared experience and values have given the girls lifelong friendships that they will always cherish. The school is run in a manner that fosters a safe, noncompetitive and nurturing environment. The instructors and staff are caring, professional and most importantly; role models. As a mom, you know how important it is to surround our daughters with positive role models who are compassionate and caring. I feel like I hit the jackpot with you. They say teachers are the noblest profession. The impact a teacher has on a child each year cannot truly be measured. But a dance teacher continues to impact a student’s life year after year, and in our case for 15 wonderful years. Thank you for everything you’ve done for those 15 years and for the influence you’ve had on my daughter. I know she will never forget all the fun she had with you and her “family” at Danceworks. Dear Chris, Thank you for another wonderful year. The girls enjoyed performing in the recital and the classes with their wonderful teacher. Every year the recital gets better and better, the routines are fun and creative and the performer’s skills are crisp and more professional. The costumes are always beautiful. I appreciate the attitude of inclusion that your dance studio shows to all its students. Dear Miss Chris, Thank you so much for running a great dance school! Danceworks has helped me in so many ways. Obviously it showed me that I love dancing. I learned that I love being on the stage. Dear Chris, I can’t even begin to tell you the impact you’ve had on my life. You have been my mentor for 15 years, teaching me much more than just dancing, but lessons I will take with me to college and through life…This place has been my second home, not only because I have spent so much time here (which I have loved every minute of) but also because I have gained so much from the people I like to think of as my second family… A graduating senior Dear Christine, It was my extreme pleasure to attend last night’s benefit- “Kids for Katrina”. Not only did my daughter and I enjoy the excellent dancing and singing-we witnessed God’s plan in action. I was in awe of their talent-but more so with their dedication to help others and to truly make a difference in these troubled times.
